health care are stronger regions. They
sustain vibrant and diverse communities. They foster true democracy and justice. They attract investment and business.
It well known that the Puget Sound region has benefitted
greatly from jobs created by economic engines such as Boeing, Microsoft,
Starbucks, the Port of Seattle and others. It is less well known that many of the jobs spurred by the region’s
economic activity are part-time, low-wage, no-benefit occupations that leave
tens of thousands of families struggling in economic hardship.

- Affordable, quality health care for all families
- Access to good jobs for low-income communities and people of
color historically left out of economic prosperity
- Ending discrimination and exploitation of immigrant workers
- Supporting the fundamental right of workers to organize
