A decade of building socially just, sustainable communities.
Since our inception in 2007, Puget Sound Sage has brought together labor, faith, environmental and community groups to build an economy that benefits working families. We work at the intersection of three elements critical to creating an equitable region: good jobs, equitable development and a clean, healthy environment. By connecting the dots between these issues, we are effective at systems change, policy solutions and the engagement of our communities.
Our work has resulted in ground breaking policy changes such as Seattle's paid sick and safe leave, $15 minimum wage, a new low-income transit fare called ORCA Lift, and mandatory inclusionary housing policies to protect affordable housing in Seattle.
